Cruisin the Coolstores June 2008

Another month, another Coolstore cruise. The weather gods forgave us after last month and we enjoyed a cool [in more than one way] clear night with the stars out. The cars arrived early, some even waiting for us to set up. The fires were lit, the BBQ was fired up, the cars cruised in and another Coolstore Cruise night was away. In all over 75 cars rolled up to enjoy the laid back atmosphere as people caught up, enjoyed a hamburger [or two!] off the BBQ and a cool beverage from the Pen Lounge. And of course, we had a few goodies to give away at 7:30. As usual, the slab went off the prize table first! As if!
Yes, cool was the theme and the Coolstore Cruise lived up to its reputation again. Cool cars, cool night, warmed up with some hot food and a quick chat around the fire. Winter cruisin' is cool! Come give it a try in July. Our intrepid photographer Graeme Hutson is being very intrepid this month as he & Cheryl are holiday in the USA. Reports are that he's already spent the holiday food fund at Pomona swap meet! Anyway, you'll have to make do with photos from his assistants.
