November Cruise
Night
2012
At presentation time we kicked off by announcing Steve Neal’s Reef Green ’70 Falcon GT as our pick for the Best Presented award. Steve gave us a brief history of his beautifully detailed XW. The car has been in his family since new and was restored in ’89 and has only 77,000 miles on the clock. It was flawlessly turned out and Steve picked up a bucket filled with around $200 worth of premium quality car care products. |

October Cruise
Night
2012
The
LGC
crew selected the first Best Presented award for this
summer.
Lucky winner of a $200 worth of car care products was Sam’s 1967
Chevy II
Nova SS.
Sam’s
Grenada Gold Nova with matching interior is equipped
with a
highly detailed 327CI under the hood. It’s a great looking ride and was
beautifully prepared for its outing, deserving its selection against
lots of
competition for this night’s award.
Congratulations
Sam. |

March Cruise Night
2012
Alby had cruised in earlier in his very
fresh '32 Ford Roadster.
This Dearborn Deuce convertible fitted with
an
LT 1 Corvette motor was an excellent example of what it takes in
preparation to take home the $200 worth of car care products. It
was flawless.
Thanks for bringing it along Alby.

Texas Holdem 2012
The Best Presented award
was probably the toughest one we’d ever had to judge with so many great
cars beautifully presented. The nod went to Ward’s Ice Blue ’66 Mustang
with you guessed it, custom number plates ICE - 66. What some people
will do to collect the $200+ of car care products! To collect this
award against the competition at this event helps describe how well
Ward’s Mustang was turned out. Congratulations.

Back to the Drive
In 2011
As busy as we all were hosting this event,
we did spot a number of deserving candidates for the Best Presented Award
at the Dromana Drive In. Darren Pelacchi caught the judges eye as he
cruised through the Drive In’s gate in his immaculate and ‘improved’
1958 Chevrolet Corvette. This Black and Silver stunner is fitted with
’91 Corvette driveline and 18” Boyd’s to fit over the late model discs.
It rides and steers with the help of coil over’s and power steering. In
other words, if you’re really setting out to enjoy cruisin’ in an early
‘Vette, this is the way to go. Darren’s car was beautifully turned out
and he took home a bucket filled with car care products to keep it
that way. Congratulations Darren.

the night was taken home to Toorak by Warren Skinner in his bright
yellow 1923 T bucket. There was plenty of competition from the many
well turned out rides on display but Warren’s T bucket was too hard to
beat on this occasion. The bucket must look cool parked in Toorak
Village amongst the Rolls, Bentleys and Porches that hang out there!

Texas Holdem 2010
Simon Collins not only cleaned up his candy
gold and white FC Holden to take out the Best Presented Award at
the 2010 Texas Hold’em Poker Cruise, he cleaned out the prize table at
the Poker Games ‘Flop’ as well.
Simon’s Holden was one of many very well
prepared cars that cruised into Williamstown this year. But the
polished blower sitting on top of the shinning small block Chevrolet
convinced the judges that Simon had put plenty of elbow grease into
prepping his car for the day’s cruise. He collected a bucket filled
with car care range to keep it in top condition. Only
a few minutes after collecting this award, he was back at the prize
table collecting more prizes when he had the winning poker hand in the
Blue game. His boot was overflowing when he headed home.
Congratulations.

There were many great cars that cruised into
the Lifestyle Centre on Melbourne Cup day but it was the
