Cruisin the Coolstores April 2008

The weather gods again smiled on the Coolstore Cruise in April for another great cruise night. The warm night saw just on 200 cars cruise in, with many new cars again showing up. A couple were even fresh off the boat from the USA, still with their US number plates attached. The BBQ was busy all night long supplying the Schnitzel Burgers, Moggy's Café kept the caffeine levels up, and the refurbished Sunset Lounge provided sit down meals and beverages. Local Mornington based Cruisers, Tony & Jan Morphett brought along their '34 Ford Tourer fresh from it winning Top Car at the ASRF Tasmanian Street Rod Nationals held over Easter. Congratulations Tony & Jan.
We sent a dozen Cruisers home happy with goodies off the door prize table. As usual the slabs of beer went first! Thanks again to our sponsors, Holden Genuine Parts & Preston Motors for providing us with some great giveaways.
