Peninsula Cruise Night - June 2016
Well it was the first week of winter so why we expect wintery weather?
Not dissuaded by all this were about a dozen or so car enthusiasts still cruised into our monthly cruise night. We might have been sheltering inside the Sober Mule but the hot food was as good as ever. Curly won the $100 in the night’s Cruiser draw for the second month in a row.
A couple of winners for the night’s entrants raffle were soon located. Actually the odds of winning something were about as good as it gets. We’ll try again next month and hope for better weather.
July Cruise Night Moves to BP Servo Baxter
Our July Cruise Night to be held on July 5th will be moved from the Homemaker Centre to Southbound BP Service Centre on the Peninsula Link at Baxter. This has been necessitated by the Sober Mule being closed to allow for its move to the new building in the centre of the car park. So our July cruise night will be the same time, same program, same fun get-together but different venue. The ‘new’ Sober Mule will be fully operational for our return to the Homemaker Centre for the August Cruise Night with a wider meal and beverage service, service that the Gals are sure to like.
LGC Cruisers will be able to renew their annual Cruiser subscriptions from July Cruise Night on.
Our photographer Graeme Hutson was out taking photos just to provide bragging rights to those that were there to those that weren’t. Obviously didn’t take long!
