Peninsula Cruise Night - May 2016
What a shocker!
With a weather forecast that only got worse as the day wore on, at 4pm, as predicted by the not so friendly weather guy, the wind lifted to gale force and the rain storm arrived. However, not daunted by all this were about a dozen or so car enthusiasts, including a couple of street rodders, who still cruised into our monthly cruise night. We might have been sheltering inside the Sober Mule but the hot chips were as good as ever. Curly won the $100 in the night’s Cruiser draw. Didn’t have it for too long as it was passed over to Lou Lou pretty soon after!
A couple of winners for the night’s entrants raffle were soon located. Actually the odds of winning something were about as good as it gets. We’ll try again next month and hope for better weather even if it is the first week of winter.
Our photographer Graeme Hutson was out taking photos just to provide bragging rights to those that were there to those that weren’t. Obviously didn’t take long!
