Peninsula Cruise Night - January 2016
Another year rolls around, but some things never change. Our cruise nights are still on the 1st Tuesday of the month, the weather forecasters try their best to put us off, 200+ cars still cruise in and a good time is still had. The food walks out of the Cafe and the sausages still smell inviting from the Rotary guys BBQ. It’s no wonder we turn up every month! Lots of new cars to check out, lots of New Year well wishes to be made with old friends and some new friends to meet. I’m sure some were put off by the weather forecast of possible storms but if you ignored that and were there, you know we enjoyed another good get together.
A special acknowledgement to the Mornington uniforms who responded quickly and promptly dealt with a few individuals who rocked up in late model cars to make nuisances of themselves. One individual had an outstanding arrest warrant so I suspect he now regrets his attention seeking behaviour. If this incident took the shine off your attendance, please be aware this was a very rare event and hope that you’ll be back next month.
Graeme managed to get around and take a few photos to share.
