Peninsula Cruise Night - September 2012
The early taste of summer promised by the
weatherman saw cars cruisin in to the Homemaker Centre for September's
Peninsula Cruise Night from before 5pm. By 6pm over 200 cars had
cruised in and by 6:30pm we'd run out of flyers and the Sober Mule was
starting to run out of some food items. With 250 cars eventually
cruisin in, the mood was set for an enjoyable night out. We managed to
find some lucky winners for the entrant's gate raffle, Rex picked up
the $100 in the LGC Cruiser draw, the Sober Mule crew managed to feed
everyone and even the police [who seemed very reasonable in
the way they went about their business] checking club plated cars log
books didn't get a result. Hopefully the weatherman will deliver
another similar night next month. Here's some photos from Graeme Hutson.
