Peninsula Cruise Night - June 2012
We advertise that the cruise night is on ‘rain hail or shine’ but perhaps after this June we need to work ‘COLD’ into this phrase! It was dry, but it was cold. And after the heavy rain the previous day, it was reasonable that most car owners decided to stay home close to a heater. However, at 5pm, sure enough, the very hardy started to cruise in to a darkening car park. By 6pm we had around 45 cars spread out with some nice rides as Graeme’s photos show.
With a smaller crowd than normal, the odds were better than usual to pick up the night’s giveaways in the Cruiser and entrants draw. It didn’t take long to find some happy winners. Thanks to all who braved the chilly night to keep cruisin’.
