  Phillip Island Classic 2012
Over 50 cars cruised early on Saturday morning into Tooradin to form up our cruise convoy down the the 2012 Phillip Island Classic Historic Racing at the PI Grand Prix Circuit.
A comfortable hours cruise saw the convoy grid up at the circuit's gate along with some early arrivals also entered in our days event. Once processed, our convoy cruised into the reserved parking on the fence right at the start/finish line, just in time to watch and hear the 35+ F5000 V8 open wheelers accelerate away at the start of their first event for the day. With non stop action on the track and 500+ cars from all eras and categories to check out in the pit garages, there weren't too many early departures from our reserved car park.
This event just gets bigger every year, as does the attendance in our cruise. This has to be one of the best value for money car enthusiasts day's outing anywhere. It was enjoyed by all who came along. Just ask someone who did.
Our thanks again to the Victorian Historic Racing Register and Shannons for making our cruise possible again this year. It's much appreciated.
