 
Peninsula Cruise Night - April 2012
Why do we have to wait for summer weather all the way until April? But as is well proven, the promise of a dry and warm evening, even without daylight saving, bought out 250+ cars and around 1000 car enthusiasts to the April cruise night. It was school holidays as well so there were a larger than usual number of kids allowed to stay up a little later and cruise in with mum & dad. Managed to find a winner of the $100 on offer for the night's LGC Cruiser draw as well as the three entrants with lucky tickets. Peter Koning, retired owner of Hoppers Stoppers presented Glen with his $1000 Hoppers Stoppers voucher drawn last month in the annual Grand Prize draw, which sounds like being used on a brake upgrade for his Cusso. Our thanks again to the Hoppers Stoppers team for making this prize available.
We presented a cheque for $500 towards the fund raising on behalf of a local lady in need of special medical attention only available overseas. Our best wishes go along with the cheque.
All in all, please can we have more nights as nice as this one for future cruise nights? Please?
