 
Peninsula Cruise Night - June 2015
First day of winter and yes, it was a winter’s evening at the cruise night. Still, we had some dedicated cruisers roll in to the Homemaker Centre. Particularly one blue Camaro owned by Mick from Somerville. He was the lucky winner of the 350 Chevrolet Engine up for grabs in our 10th anniversary Cruiser Grand Prize Pool. Mick’s Cruiser # came out of the box at the March cruise night and it was great to hear this motor now installed in the Camaro as it rumbled into the car park. I’ll let you guess whether he had a big smile on his face or not! It was warm inside the Sober Mule though and with some DVD’s playing to remind us of warmer cruisin days from last summer and with hot food on offer, the cruise night wasn’t too bad a place to be. Especially for Warren when we drew his name out of the box for the night’s Cruiser draw and then a couple of winners of the ACDelco car care packs in the entrant’s gate raffle.
We’ll try again next month. You just never know what weather we might get dished up over the winter months.
