 
Peninsula Cruise Night - April 2015
After perfect autumn weather across the Easter weekend, the April cruise night fell on Easter Tuesday and its Melbourne so the weather changed of course! With steady rain during the afternoon, it was never going to encourage chrome bumper owners getting their favourite car out to cruise. Earl & Rhonda across from NZ on a short holiday in Melbourne found us after using public transport all the way from the CBD only to see an empty car park when they arrived. They were starting to think Aussies were pretty ‘soft’ but fortunately 24 hardy car owners did roll up to fly the flag for cruisers willing to get their cars wet. We didn't have too much trouble finding winners for the night’s Cruiser draw and gate raffle prizes with the smaller than usual crowd inside the cafe. Still with most other cruise nights shutting down for the coming winter months, we will continue to gamble with the weather gods and be back next month for hopefully a better evening.
