Cruisin to Historics at Phillip Island 2006

41 cars left Tooradin at 9:00am. The cruise down to the island was pleasant and uneventful. Hard luck for the day was the black 57 Chev , who sheared of his fuel line getting into the parking area, thanks to Bill for helping out with repairs.
This was a fantastic day, in the pits was a relaxed atmosphere with many teams inviting the public in to look at their cars, but once the helmet went on it was all business, these cars are built to race and that's exactly what they did. The pedigree and variety of the cars was amazing and almost an overload in terms of sight and sound.
Thanks to Matt at Shannons Insurance for supporting our run and providing the discounted tickets and AC Delco for providing some goodies for give aways and raffles.
Judging by the number of favourable comments from the guys on the cruise, we'll definitely be back next year.
