Cruise to Rich River Rod Run - Echuca March 2006

About 20 cruisers were assembled at the Shell S/S at Donneybrook Rd Kal Kalo ready for our 10:30am departure to Echuca. With an on time leave, roadwork’s right at the intersection meant the cruise got broken up at the start but it only took a few k’s for us to join up and we then had a nice mix of rods and classics cruisin'. An hour later we pulled into Nagambie where Warren & Marg had scoped out some eateries and places to visit. We entertained the ladies at the museum, and we checked out some very desirable auto collectables at one store dedicated to all those things boys just have to have in their garages, you know, oil bottles, old petrol bowsers, enamel signs, etc.
Then some lunch and it was off to Echuca via Tatura, Kyabram and Tongala. The locals were treated to an instant car show as the cruise rumbled through the towns. We arrived in Echuca to a town full of street rods and all sorts of chrome bumper cars cruising. Thanks to all those who joined up to make the cruise to Echuca happen. See you for the cruise to Castlemaine in a few weeks time.
