McDonalds Hose Monash Xmas Party 2006
This year the McDonalds House at Monash Christmas Party was at Amaze 'n Things at Phillip Island. The change of venue certainly did not stop families from attending, of the 400 invitations sent out, 390 were there!
For those that are not aware McDonalds House at Monash exists to enable families to be close to their child whilst being able to keep the family unit together. There are only 12 of these houses in Australia, they receive major grants from Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), the official charity of McDonald’s Restaurants (Australia) Ltd, and donations from McDonald’s restaurant owners, they ares neither owned nor operated by McDonald’s Restaurants. Ronald Mc Donald House Monash is 100% owned and managed by the community, through Sandy Ridge House Incorporated.
Ongoing costs are raised annually through the support of our volunteers, friends in the community and corporate sector and this is where we step in.
