Peninsula Cruise Night - October 2019

What a difference an almost perfect night of weather makes to enjoying a cruise night get together? Well considering it was the 1st of October it was as close to perfect as we could wish for. And it bought out lots of cars & car enthusiasts to enjoy it. Must have been a hungry lot as the Sober Mule was pretty much sold out by presentation time.

Long time cruiser subscriber Mick was smiling as he walked away with the $100 in cash from his name coming out in the Cruiser draw. Dave seemed equally as happy with the $300 dyno tune voucher from Chev’s Performance. It didn’t take long to find 3 winners of the night’s gate raffle. Goody bags filled with Meguiar’s, Liqui Moly & ACDelco products. Thanks again to all our sponsors.

We had a few LGC members away on the night so a big thank you to the volunteers that stepped up to help out hosting the night.

Just a reminder about the lunch cruise this coming Sunday October 6th. Celebrate the return of daylight saving [we’d cruise & lunch for any reason] with a cruise departing the Sober Mule at 11.30am. Venue is a well-regarded bistro that’s very family friendly.

Also, a reminder that next month our cruise night falls on Melbourne Cup Day. Cruise night will operate but the Sober Mule will be closed. We’ll have the Rotary Club serving as well as other food & beverage vendors. See our web site for details of the Cup Cruise that departs the Sober Mule at 11:00am and returns after the running of the Cup.
