Peninsula Cruise Night - February 2019

With a recent run of hot weather, it was a relief to host February’s cruise night in comfortable temperatures. It was a mello night from the start with cars just rollin in, no rush for parking spots, no queues in the café, just the way we like it. Still, by it was time to give a way some prizes the car park was very full with 240+ cars.

First up was the night’s LGC Cruiser draw. Steve’s number came out first and he opted to grab the $300 dyno voucher provided by Chev’s Auto Repairs in Carrum Downs. I bumped into Steve earlier in the night and he mentioned that he hadn’t attended a cruise night for a while so proving yet again that it does pay to roll up occasionally. Second number out was very happy with the $100 in cash.

Gate raffle goody bags were stretched by the ACDelco and Liqui Moly items. No trouble finding 3 winners as very few cars had left before the draw.\

Next month is a biggie for all the LGC Cruiser subscribers. It’s on March 5th when we hold our annual Cruiser prize draw. Two $500 cash prizes, a $1000 Hoppers Stoppers voucher plus some consolation prizes. You don’t to be present to win one of the major prizes, but if you are, you have priority pick over other winners not present. We’ll have some consolation prizes to give away to Cruisers present, so there’s another reason to make the effort to attend. Draw is a 7pm.
