Peninsula Cruise Night - March 2019

Good weather, 200+ great cars and lots of hopeful LGC Cruisers hoping to take home some cash in the annual Cruiser prize pool draw added up to another fun Peninsula cruise night.

We kicked off the night’s presentations by wishing long time LGC Cruisers, Paul & Lorraine Brooks best wishes for their house move to Hayfield in Gippsland. Paul was one of the first car enthusiasts to join our Cruiser program back in March 2006 with Lorraine subscribing a couple of years later when she acquired her own pre ’75 car. It was then time to get the night’s prize draws underway by drawing 3 tickets for the entrants’ gate raffle. Each winning entrant collected a goody bag filled with very useful ACDelco products. Next up was the annual LGC Cruiser prize draw. When Darren’s name came out 1st he happily accepted the $500 cash provided by Frankston Engine Centre. Next winner was Martin who also picked the $500 generously supplied by Creative Custom Cars in Dromana. Not sure who had the biggest grin? Martin or his wife watching on! Terry was next out, but not being at the draw means the Hoppers Stoppers $1000 voucher is headed his way. Paul & John picked up the $100 cash consolation prizes. Thanks again to all the prize sponsors.

Next month’s Cruise Night is the last with daylight saving until it returns in October.

Here’s a few photos from Shelley.
