Peninsula Cruise Night - April 2018

With daylight saving ending only 2 days before, it was anyone’s guess how many cars would cruise in with the sun setting around 6pm. Lady luck shined on us and we enjoyed one of the nicest evenings we’ve had in many months. No breeze, a warm setting sun and lights in the car park adjusted for the clock change gave us perfect conditions to cruise. You only had to wander around the 150+ cars to see all the roadsters & convertibles going topless that confirmed it. It did cool off pretty quickly after sunset so we started up the Cruiser draw and entrants gate raffle a few minutes before 7pm. Thanks to Chev at Chev’s Auto Repairs in Carrum Downs for the dyno tune voucher which Dale happily chose over the $100 cash. A few draws later and we had passed ACDelco/Meguiar’s goody bags to 3 happy winners. Why can’t we get nights as good as this every month? Thanks for coming along and fingers crossed for May 1st.
