Peninsula Cruise Night - September 2014
The weather man threatened us with a cool showery evening and the possibility of hail thrown in. Yeh great!! When the day turned out to be mild and sunny we had to request an increase in the supplies at the Sober Mule in anticipation of a larger rollup than first thought. And over 100 cars did roll in to enjoy our first Spring Cruise Night even if there was still a wintery chill in the air. Again, a great variety of cars on display, even a couple with their roof down just to prove that you can still ‘open top’ cruise in the cooler months.
Cruiser draw was taken out by Mal who subscribed only a week ago. She used her $100 win to pay for her seat at the Pink Slips Xmas function at the Crown later in the year. Very happy Cruiser!
Didn’t take too long to find 3 winners in our gate raffle. Happy winners took home some ACDelco & Liqui Moly products thanks to our sponsors. Hopefully the weather man will be kinder to us in October because I’m pretty sure we’re all over the cold winter.
See you there next month.
Here’s some photos from Graeme Hutson.
