Peninsula Cruise Night - February 2014
After a run of uncomfortably hot weather, we managed to enjoy a cooler evening for this month’s cruise night even if it was pretty windy. Well there’s got to be something about the weather. It’s a bit like going to the Calder Drags years ago when it rained at every meet! The wind didn’t deter the 350+ car owners that cruised in though and by 6pm the car park was filling fast. The sausages off the Rotary Club’s BBQ again proved popular and the café crew were kept busy right up to the prize draws.
With 2014 being our 10th year of hosting cruise nights on the Peninsula we managed to ‘step up’ the prizes on offer for the night with the night’s LGC Cruiser draw a Kincrome ‘Nostalgia’ Esky filled with some very useful Kincrome tools. Happy winner was Barry who only recently took out his subscription. Chev’s Performance provided us with another Dyno Tune Voucher to the value of $300 and Roger was the lucky Cruiser who gets to have one of his cars tuned up by the experts at Chev’s Performance.
Then it was time to draw 3 winners in the night’s entrant’s draw, again with something extra on offer. We not only had 3 ACDelco product packs, but also 3 goody bags from Coates Hire containing a $50 credit voucher to go with these packs. Again, our thanks to all our sponsors for their support of our events.
See you there next month.
