Peninsula Cruise Night - October 2011
It's a fact that cruise nights work best during the daylight saving months and with October being the first of the coming summer, this was again confirmed when around 350 cars cruised in for our Peninsula Cruise Night. A forecast of a fine warm evening, mixed with school holidays also helped. Not only did the cars keep rolling in, but so did the people with lots of family groups and kids. The cafe was kept busy all night and the sausage sizzle sold out. We managed to find some lucky winners in the nights entrants raffle as well as two lucky LGC Cruisers who each pocketed $100 just for being there and writing their name and Cruiser # on a slip of paper. Not a bad return for effort. All we need now is to get the weather gods repeating this warm, clear and wind free evening on the 1st Tuesday of EVERY MONTH!! Please! Here's lots of photos form Graeme who was kept busy all night with the great variety of cars attending.
