HSV Hot Laps - December 2011
Winners are Grinners
With the generous support of Ferntree Gully Holden, Holden Special Vehicles, HSV Racing Team and Walkinshaw Racing, we were able to offer two T2 Hot Laps in a V8 Supercar driven by the race teams top drivers as prizes at Santa Cruz 2011.
Our two lucky winners, Steve who won the night's LGC Cruiser draw and Shane, whose uncle Rex picked up the first prize in the night's charity raffle, now have mile wide smiles after taking their laps at the Phillip Island Grand Prix circuit.
With six V8 Supercars warming up in pit row as they suited up in their safety gear, the adrenalin was flowing.
Steve got the ride of his life with recent Bathurst winner Nick Percat, while Shane rocketed around the circuit with Fabian Coulthard. The drivers gave their passengers the full on Supercar experience as they drifted around corners and passed the pits at 240+ kms/hr. This was no amusement park ride, just ask Steve and Shane.
Our thanks to Brett Field at Ferntree Gully Holden for making this great prize available.
