Cruisin the Coolstores September 2006
The first Cruise Night of Spring also meant we'd survived our first year of Winter Cruise nights. It seems somewhat iroic that, although the temperatures were cool [ to match the cars ], all the Winter cruise nights were dry, unlike last summer.
So in September, the sun starts setting a little later, the cars rolled in, and as the air cooled down, we light the braziers in the car park, and more cars rolled in.
With around 50 street rods and chrome bumpers in attendence, around 100+ cruisers enjoyed another laid back Cruise the Coolstores. There were free Mars and Snickers bars for all and three lucky cruisers went home with some giveaways. Can someone stop giving Curly a ticket!! He's had something like 4 collects in a row!!
So we congratulate all those hardy cruisers that came along just to see if we were serious about conducting the cruise night across the winter months. We're happy we did, we hope you all had some fun as well.
Here's a few photos just to prove you were there. See you in October.
