Texas Hold'em Poker Cruise

Due to circumstances beyond our control we have been forced to cancel our planned Poker Cruise to Flinders on February 22nd.

It is a necessary condition that any venue we utilize to host events has sufficient parking spaces for an expected number of entrants. We considered that fine weather in February could see up to 300 cars attend and had developed our plans for this possible turn out. We had previously obtained permission to park entrant’s cars along the perimeter of the golf course’s fairways and practice areas from The Flinders Golf Club, enabling us to host this number of cars within the Golf Club’s grounds. This permission was revoked last week by the Golf Club reducing significantly the number of cars we could now host for our event. The LGC team held an emergency meeting to review the impact of this change on our scheduled event and decided that the venue no longer provided the necessary conditions required for a successful day. This is unfortunate as we know many of you were looking forward to this day.

This is the first event Let’s Go Cruisin’ has cancelled in ten years of operation and have not taken this decision lightly.

We will continue to seek out interesting venues for our events but will only use those that to the best of our ability, support an enjoyable day out for every entrant that attends and all the family and friends that come along.
