Peninsula Cruise Night - January 2013
With our January Cruise Night falling on New Year’s Day we were left guessing how many people might cruise in. There’s the ‘hangover’ from late night on New Year’s Eve to get over, there was the Picnic in the Park event in Mornington and the Sober Mule was closed for the holidays. Just as well we decided to set up early as cars started rolling in around 4pm and kept rolling until by 6pm over 250 chrome bumpers filled the Homemaker Centre’s car park.
With food options limited to a sausage sizzle, we pulled forward the raffle draws. It was good to see a long time Cruiser subscriber win the $100 plus a Sober Mule voucher when Albert Mason’s name came out of the box. It was Craig Quelch’s good fortune when his name came out for the ‘bonus draw’ $100 plus voucher.
We didn’t have too much trouble finding winners for the ACDelco service packs and Col Warren’s voucher as most entrants had stayed for the draws.
What a great way to start another cruisin year!
