Invitation to join an LGC Group to go Ocean Cruising

With some members of the LGC team having enjoyed Ocean Cruises in recent years, they floated the idea that car enthusiasts attending our events might also like a ship-based cruise if we arranged a group. A group booking can provide discounts and benefits not available when booking a cabin as individuals, so with that in mind we hosted our first LGC group cruise back in 2014. It was a 3 day ‘sampler’ designed to provide a taste of what modern ship ocean cruise life is about.

Since then we have hosted 2 cruises, a 10 day ex Sydney around the South Pacific Islands with 48 people in 2015, followed by a shorter cruise ex Melbourne to Eden attracting 62 cruisers in 2018. We’re shortly visiting Kangaroo Island again ex Melbourne for 4 nights with over 120 people booked to come along. With these shorter & more affordable cruises departing out of Port Melbourne proving to be very popular, it looks like we’ll be hosting some more short duration ocean cruises into the near future. Departing from Port Melbourne also enables us to arrange coach transfers from Mornington and return and avoids the extra cost of travelling to Sydney.
