5th Annual
Car and bike Show 1st Craigieburn scouts. This will be our show
and it gets bigger every year. I was wondering if you would let your
members know at your next meeting, to see if any of them would like
to attend. The show is run in conjunction with the Craigieburn festival
and is a very big day. The day starts out with a cruise around the
streets of the football oval, then park on the oval for judging. We
have 25 trophies for cars & 15 for the bikes. This year we will be
taking pre registations, as with limited space on the oval due to
the water restrictions. We have limited it to 200 cars, Bike should

Car Show Keilor Hotel, Old Calder Hwy Keilor. The Rotary Club
of Keilor Annual Car Show on Sunday the 4th May 2008, in the grounds

the Car Show will be donated to support the North West Victorian Farmers
Drought Relief, by way of various projects that our Club is undertaking

I can't stop looking at them with amazement. We really do have so
many talented people around doing great things. We have a couple of
late inclusions to the exhibition so now we have a total of of 7 photographers
displaying their work. All works are for sale and worth a purchase.

Paul Vanzella is rushing a limited 20 copies of his new book showng
off a collection of his beautiful photographic work and priced at
only $40 which is great value. Paul will be on hand this Sunday to

The Mustang
Owners of Australia, Victorian branch are proud to present our annual
State Concours and Mustang Round Up. Dandenong Show Grounds, Bennett
Street. Dandenong. We hope to have over 300 cars on display ranging
from the 1964 ½ model right up the current day 07’ model weather permitting.
This is our clubs biggest day of days with trade stands, parts & accessories
vendors, cars for sale, food vendors and a display of the racing Mustangs,
Special guests and more. There will also be cars entered into 3 judged
classes Original Concours, Modified Concours and Show'n'Shine unfortunately
these are only open the club members as various entry conditions apply.

Torquay Motor Show The event
will take place at “Elephant Walk” – The Torquay foreshore from 11am
to 4pm. Proceeds will go towards a good cause – the proposed Torquay
Community Bike Park – “Giving our children and members of the community
safer places to ride their bicycles”. The event will be based on a
“Show and Shine” competition to the best presented vehicles including
historic cars; hot rods; muscle cars; sports cars; motor cycles and
bicycles. Classes include: - Pre 1918; 1918 – 1939; 1940 to 1959;
1960 to 1979; and 1980 to current. Trophies will be awarded to all
of the class winners including additional awards for the most interesting
entries; the oldest entries; and to those that have travelled the
longest distance in order to participate at the event. Competitors
cost of entry will be a gold coin donation, with all competitors receiving

2008 Day of the Volkswagen is being held on Sunday at Cranbourne Racecourse,

3rd Annual Moonlight On The Mountains Roots and Country Festival held in the picturesque mountain town of Warburton is on again. The festival is held over one night featuring 6 bands that come from all over Australia, they are: The Detonators, Coyote Serenade, Ben Rogers Instrumental Asylum, Red Rivers & Nailhead, Gatorbait and The Wild Violets. Ticket prices are low so we can provide this spectacular nights entertainment for families wanting a good night out. Prices are $15 for a single and $35 for a family and are available from the gate. There is strictly no BYO Alcohol on the reserve. There will be food available from the 1st Warburton Scouts and the famous Wild Thyme Restaurant will be under cover on the reserve to cater quality restaurant food at affordable prices. Wild Thyme will also be providing a wine bar and café. A bar will be run by the Warburton-Millgrove Sporting Club.
