Kustom Nationals Phiilip Island Race Track. It’s Friday January 6th 2006 and you and your pals are cruisin’ one of the finest holiday destinations in Australia, Phillip Island… Sure, there’s plenty to see and do around the Island, but Friday afternoon you’re hangin’ around Cowes cause that’s where the Kustom Nationals action is, with some of Australia’s best hot rods, kustoms and muscle cars cruisin’ the main drag while thousands of holiday makers are taking it all in.4 pm and the bands are setting up for the wild 60’s beach party that’ll go on till late, and then we’re retiring to one of the local pubs for some rockabilly action.
Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit takes centre stage on Saturday and Sunday, with non stop Rockabilly and Cruisin’ action. Those that attended the last two Kustom Nationals know what it means to cruise the finest ribbon of bitumen in Australia, just make sure you have a tanker tag along so you don’t have to leave the track for any reason. Once again a kewl car will be dropped and chopped over the weekend in the annual kustom how to where you’ll get the chance to pick up some helpful hints, or maybe the Pinstriping workshop is more your style, where you’ll get plenty of hints from the experts .

The day is intended to be enjoyed by everyone. So, why not pack a picnic and travel to the beautiful Hanging Rock Reserve on 12 February 2006 and join fellow enthusiasts for an unforgettable experience. Display cars, whether on ‘special club permits’, or not, are eligible to be parked in the display areas, other cars will be parked at the discretion of the organisers. Due to the ever increasing number of cars their will be a number of changes to traffic patterns in the area on the 12th of February.
