About Chainsaw Bob's 'Highway 31' Cruise to the ASRF's 2007 Street Rod Nationals
Over 100 cruisers joined Bob for the long 'East Coast Cruise' to the 2005 Street Rod Nationals in Southport Qld. A lot of fun was had along the way, some money was donated to charity, and a few fellow rodders were helped with a car problem or two. As they say ' Getting there is half the fun!' So come along on this ASRF sanctioned cruise.
The basic principles we'll be applying to this event are:
- We will hold the event rain, hail or shine. We had all these in the last one and it definitely helps makes the stories grow bigger over time!
- We plan to keep things simple. It's meant to be an enjoyable experience!
- There will be an $20 entrant fee. We will work hard at providing good value for your $20 though.
- No trophies, it's a cruise! But we will have some giveaways.
- We organize the cruise, but entrants arrange their own accommodation/meals.
- We want a family friendly cruise. Unsociable or irresponsible behaviour will be unacceptable.
- Entrants must pre register to fully participate in all activities.
- Pre registered entrants are free to join in the cruise at each of our scheduled stops.
- All monies raised will be donated to our chosen charity.
Entry Fee: $20 per car
Western and South Australians Nationals Entrants.
Why not arrange your travel plans so that you meet up with us in Gundagai on Wednesday night, completing the final leg of the cruise next day into Goulburn.
Entrants HiWay 31 Dinner Function We have arranged a special function at the Gundagai District Services Club for your enjoyment. In the club’s function room they will have available an extensive buffet of Australian & Asian cuisine. We have also arranged entertainment for the night. Cost to entrants is $20/head. Cost to non entrants wishing to come along will be $25/head. The club also has full bar, TAB and KENO facilities. The club is located in Sheridan St. Gundagai. Being a club, dress standards will apply so neat attire would be appreciated.

| Stop 1. Glenrowan BP S/S | Pit Stop A scheduled pit stop will be made at the Glenrowan S/S on the highway . |
| Stop 2. Ettamogah Pub | Lunch stop at the famous Ettamogah Pub.. |
| Stop 3. Gundagai | O'night Stay We stop for the night in Gundagai. A social function with entertainment for registered entrants only will be held at a local venue. Rodders travelling to the Nationals via other highways are welcome to join us in Gundagai, to kick off the Nationals a day early! See accommodation guide to reserve your rooms. |
Thursday April 5th
| Depart | Depart Gundagai from the "dog on the Tucker Box" at 10:00am for Goulburn. The cruise concludes when we've rolled into Goulburn around lunch time. |
