Cruise Night - October 2009

Well we advertise our cruise nights as being on 'rain, hail or shine' and that's just what the weather man forecast for the October Cruise Night.

And this being the first 'daylight saving' month, we were hoping for better. Can someone have a word with that weather guy! With 100 entrants cruisin' in, it's just as well the 'hail' bit didn't eventuate. A couple of showers just slide by and the cruise night was able to rock along without disruption. Lots of new cars to check out again. Where do they keep coming from?

The cool weather also meant that the hot food was walking out of the cafe. It seems that the Sober Mule guys had to send out for additional supplies to keep everyone well fed. How good are those roast beef rolls??
