Cruise Night - September 2009

1st of September is not only the first Tuesday of the month and therefore a cruise night, but also the first day of Spring. After last month's wintery weather that kept all but but the hardiest of cruisers at home in front of the fire, September's cruise night was a classic Spring evening. No rain, sunny afternoon, not too cold and lots of chrome bumper cars and street rods ventured out. I suspect it was the first time many had been fired up for quite a while given the winter weather over the last few weeks. Around 130 cars filled with happy owners, family members or friends cruised in to check out some of the newest rides in town.
The cafe was busy keeping the crowd fed, the door prizes were quickly dispensed as usual and it seemed like the cruisin' scene was back in action on the Peninsula. See yo'all again next month.
