Peninsula Cruise Night - April 2009

We waved good bye to a great summer of cruise nights in daylight with the end of daylight saving this month. The showers that had bought much needed rain cleared up and cars cruised in early for the April Cruise Night.

We had great pleasure in presenting a cheque for $500 to the team from the Rye CFA. The CFA captain explained that the funds would go towards a new truck needed as backup when their main tankers are directed away to fight fires in other locations leaving the local area without a fire truck.

After the presentation, we didn't take long to find some lucky winners in the entrant's gate raffle. Congratulations to all.
