02-05/04/2010 Sandgroper Street Rod Nationals, Friday - registration and Drive-in night, Saturday - show'n'shine & auto jumble then night cruise, Sunday - lunch & winery cruise, Monday - pancake breakfast and trophy day, open to all ASRF class pre '65 vehicles. The regional Nationals head west and the South-west coastal resort town of Busselton will be the venue, only 2½ hours from Perth and about a ½ hour from the famous Margaret River wine region there will be plenty to do and see both during and either side of the Nationals, entrants will need to arrange their own accommodation (as with most of these events) but we are talking with the local tourism association to help with that and will post contact info in the near future, the event will run officially from Friday April 2 until Monday April 5, but other events around Perth should make it a worthwhile trip for those coming across the desert, we hear a few groups are planning to come over, and because our guys make the trip east regularly, we know of several good freight deals for your return trip if required, so if you are planning a holiday, bring your Hot Rod and "Go West again" in twenty ten, for more info call Mark Franks on (08) 9291 8603 (a/h) or Email franksranch@bigpond.com.au.
