Shannons German AutoFest Rond's Terrace - Next to Commonwealth Park, Canberra. 10am to 3pm. The day when all the German marques of Audi, BMW ,Mercedes, Porsche, and Volkswagen come together and raise money for the ACT Rural Fire Service, by having bucket collectors and all proceeds go to the charity. This year us very special as there will be an appearance from The Rare Marques - DKWs, Borgwards, NSUs, Goggomobil, Messerschmidt and lots more. Each car club conducts their Concourse De-Elegance. There is also a Peoples Choice award for each marque represented and for best overall vehicle, a representative from the German Embassy will present the Peoples Choice and Ambassadors trophies.
